December 13th

Today,I customized around with the tools on SketchUp. I also started writing my investigation and what I am doing in it. Now that it is the last lesson of term, we get to play games. Yippeee!!!

December 5th

Today, we researched a few things about SketchUp. I found out that you can undo your mistakes that you made. You can make roof out of it by creating a diagonal line and then using the push and pull button. Also, the video explained a lot of different textures you could use in the making of your model. We learned you cannot push or pull a curved surface.

Google SketchUp

SketchUp is a povwerful tool that allows anyone to create there own model ussing many different tools including colour and shaping the object. They can also add texture and shade. It can then be put on to Google Earth to been seen and be admired or you can keep it on and just edit it.

October 14th

Today, we started making another photostory. It was to do with our Humanities work on the Age of Exploration. We had to choose an explorer or something else to do with the Age of Exploration. I am doing Ferdinand Magellan.

I have already written down bout his life and voyage. We have to write it down before actually do the Photostory.

On Thursday, I hope to continue.

October 1st

It is the first day of October! We learned a new thing today called Image Hosting. It means uploading images or videos onto the internet. Certain sites are able to do this, e.g. Photobucket. This is very useful because when you upload more and more images, more pixels are used when you do it and then that makes your computer more and more slower. But these type of websites will help keep your computer quick.
Today, we created our own account on Photobucket. We uploaded a few images to it.

Storyboarding

Today, we are learning about a new thing called storyboarding. Storyboarding is, apparently, the planning of a motion picture. So if someone is planning a motion picture, the storyboarding must come frst before the actual film. Storyboarding is vital for remembering what comes first and what happens next.

Reflection for this week

I enjoyed this week. There was a lot of things to learn about in I.T. We learned all about Digital Storytelling and how important it is to keep you're blog from secret viewers. We also learned how to create your own story in Digital Storytelling. It was really fun.

I wonder what we will have next week!

Photostory

Photostory is our new introduced topic for I.T. It is supposedly to do with adding photos to do with my life. I'm sure it will be really fun and enjoyable. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure I will enjoy it. I haven't been thought the tools either, but I will learn!
