I am starting my create part of the process, and it is going well. I am wondering how to get my picture to fit in the text, like in word. Other than that, it is going okay so far, and it is quite enjoyable in a way.

21st October

Today, we are starting the design part of the project. We will use the Design Specification to refer to when we are creating our design. We are going to design our own layout plan, either on PowerPoint, Pencil & Paper, Publisher, and Work. I have chosen pencil and paper and I have made 3 designs of my website. I have chosen the 3rd one, because it is the most effective and good. It would probably be the best.

September 30th

Today I have to answer a question: Are the Internet and the World Wide Web the same thing?

The Internet and the WWW are two different things. The internet is an international network of computers that are joined together, international network. It lets people all over the world share information, and people can use it to email, find out news, chat with friends, play games and find info. The World Wide Web (WWW) is a network of web pages that are joined together to make a web of information that anyone in the world can see, and it includes facts, picures, videos etc. The Internet is far bigger than the World Wide Web because the WWW is only a part of the internet.

September 22nd

Today we were given questions and we had to answer them, 7 to be exact. The questions I have so far answered are the first 2 ones. Here they are:

What is HTML?
HTML is a markup language that is used to edit a particular thing on a website, like a title, or a picture. It is also used to create the colour of the web-page or the title of the web-page. It is what shapes the thing on the website.

What was life like before HTML?
Life before HTML was quite a hard one because it was hard to show how things like on a web page. There was nothing to show how big something was or how something looked. Very hard for people to describe something on a website.

We are back to school again and we are doing a new project. We are making a website about a famous figure. Today we were deciding which person we are doing. I will do a historical figure, Richard the Lionheart (Richard I of England). He was one of the kings who went on the Third Crusade to the Holy Land (Palestine). He was considered one of the bravest and strongest English Kings in history.

Today, I continued with my design and I finally completed it. It didn't turn out great but it was good enough!

Today, I continued on my work and I was called over by Ms. Castro and she marked my work. I have started my Create part

21st February

Today, I continued on my design and started on the plan. I am doing a step by step method for this project and it is very long. I will have to read through it very carefully in my project if I want to make it exactly.

Valentines Day

Today it was Valentines Day, so we did a model on SketchUp to do with Valentines Day. I did a card and some champagne on SketchUp for my project.

January 31st

Today, I continued with the customisation of the tools on Google SketchUp 6. Now I have decided which tools I will use for my project in the future. Now I can take my week break and holidays!

January 28th

Today, I continued my investigation of SketchUp by customising with the tools and using it to build mofdels. I am also beginning to wonder what tools to use in SketchUp to build my building

January 24th

Today, I started looking at some models on 3D Warehouse of Liberty Hall and I found one that was really good and it was great in detail. And I started trying out the tolls on SketchUp to see which ones I could use to build my Liberty Hall building. Next lesson, I am going to continue on my Design

January 21st

Today, Ms. Castro corrected my Introduction and Investigation and made some feedback. She said that I needed to include my essantial question, show what Areas of Interaction I use in the unit, show what tools are in SketchUp and show pictures of models (cars, planes, hotels, houses, and the Vasco da Gama Tower I used in my step-by-step method). I am wondering what model I will do in my design and what examples I will use.

January 17th

Today I continued on my investigation, finishing the step-by-step method for the making of the Vasco da Gama Tower and adding which people would use SketchUp in their jobs and how it would help them. At the end of the lesson, I just finished my investigation and had a little review over it myself. Next lesson, I am going to get Miss Castro to edit it for me before I started the next part of the process.

January 14th

Today we continued our investigation into the abilities and the different tools of SketchUp. Today I started the second part of the investigation including what type of buildings are possible to build and how someone built the Vasco da Gama Tower. I also did a little customising in SketchUp.

January 10th

Today, I started to do the investigation into the project. I have decided that for my SketchUp Project, I am going to do the Liberty Hall building. It will have all the floors and have the observation deck at the top like it does. Also, I have started looking at this projects relation to the Areas of Interation.

7th January

Today, we continued with our investigation into the programme Sketch Up. Also I have decided to build for my project, Liberty Hall. Vicente has now choosen to build a house which is modern. We will continue with more of our investigation later in the week.
